The overwhelming majority of old photos (especially with Rick) makes me think this may be their last album.īut they were great up through All Shook Up, flat-out brilliant through Dream Police, and now it's gone. Even Bang Zoom Crazy Hello had No Direction Home. The only one of those I didn't like overall til this one was Special One, but that at least had the great Scent Of A Woman. To me since then, they've had good sounding albums but nothing catchy enough so you remember it later, are enjoying it in your head and not just while it's on - with Woke Up With A Monster onward. Click to expand.Yeah they really lost the ability - Rick did? - to write great songs after that, with a few exceptions - If You Want My Love, Never Had A Lot To Lose being a couple - and then after their career sunk with The Doctor and Lap Of Luxury gave them a new lease on their career, they were allowed to have the originals on there on their next album, Busted, and it stunk.
